Pada 15 November 2024 (Jumaat), Research Group NEXUS telah menganjurkan satu sesi perkongsian dalaman bertajuk "Perlindungan Harta Intelek: Cara Pendaftaran dan Perlindungan Hak Cipta" yang dikendalikan oleh PM Dr. Norain Ismail.
Program yang diadakan di Bilik MBA 4 ini bertujuan memberi pendedahan kepada ahli kumpulan penyelidikan mengenai kaedah pendaftaran dan langkah-langkah melindungi hak cipta hasil penyelidikan serta inovasi. Melalui perkongsian ini, peserta mendapat panduan praktikal mengenai proses dokumentasi, prosedur perundangan, serta kepentingan perlindungan harta intelek dalam memastikan hasil penyelidikan diiktiraf dan dipelihara.
Sesi bermula pada jam 9.00 pagi dan berlangsung dalam suasana interaktif, di mana peserta berpeluang bertanya soalan secara terus kepada penceramah. Program ini diharap dapat meningkatkan kesedaran dan pengetahuan ahli penyelidik dalam menguruskan harta intelek secara berkesan untuk manfaat jangka panjang.
On 10 July 2024, the Pusat Pengurusan Kolaborasi RICE UTeM–Melaka successfully hosted the fifth session of the Route To Start-Ups Series 2024, titled "Navigating Business Uncertainty Through Risk Management Strategies".
The session, conducted via Microsoft Teams, featured Dr. Nusaibah Binti Mansor, Coordinator of the RICE Collaborative Management Center, as the speaker, with Dr. Murzidah Binti Ahmad Murad as moderator. The program provided valuable insights into fundamental risk management strategies tailored for entrepreneurs, integrating both academic perspectives and practical approaches.
Participants learned effective methods to safeguard their ventures against unforeseen challenges while ensuring sustained growth and success.
This initiative reflects RICE UTeM’s ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and researchers with essential skills to thrive in a fast-changing business environment.
The Green Leadership Conference 2025, organized by MGTC in collaboration with HRD Corp and PERKESO, is set to take place on Monday, 20 January 2025 at The Everly Putrajaya Hotel. With the theme "Accelerating Green Skills and Talent for Green Jobs," this premier event will bring together key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry leaders to shape Malaysia's green workforce agenda.
Key highlights include the launch of Green Job Guidelines, strategic MOU exchanges with HRD Corp and PERKESO, and a special ministerial dialogue featuring YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (Minister of NRES) and YB Steven Sim Chee Keong (Minister of KESUMA) on the Future of Green Jobs in Malaysia.
The event also features deep insights from industry leaders including Lee Heng Gui, Vanee Sivasamy, Ambassador Dr. Peter Blomeyer, and Jaran Walla, offering perspectives on policy, sustainability, and technology transitions.
A major forum session will focus on addressing the supply and demand issues on green skills and green jobs. This session will be moderated by Dr. Norhidayah Mohamad from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, who is representing the research group NEXUS. As a key voice from the academic and research community, Dr. Norhidayah will guide the discussion to bridge policy, education, and industry perspectives—ensuring that Malaysia’s green talent pipeline aligns with evolving market needs.
